Hey, everyone! How was your week? Mine was, shockingly, less busy ;). All four kids went back to school on Tuesday so I enjoyed some quiet :D. I finished the first draft of the (still titleless) Christmas novella I was working on last weekend. I’ve been working on final edits to Hand-Me-Down Princess! This is good since it releases 8/31! I can’t wait! In fact, you’ll get to meet Prince Malachi this week!
I also signed so many papers this week that I’m kind of surprise my hand didn’t fall off ;). It’s about par for the course for the first week of school. I now have two middle schoolers! Ah! Starting this week, I’ll have a flautist to go with my saxophonist. We’ll see how that goes…

I’m SO far behind on this blog that I’m afraid I’ll never have time to catch up….lol!! Been a busy couple of weeks for me…last week I was on vacation with my daughter & grandbaby to visit my sister-in-law and niece up in Washington. That was so much fun to catch up with them & get away for a while. My granddaughter is 17 months and such a delightful baby (maybe not so much anymore!), she’s so fun to be around. I wished I could bottle up her energy though…she can wear this (young) grandma out!! :-D
It’s been crazy to try to now catch up with my emails, blogs and Facebook! But, oh, it was really NICE to unplug for a while. Ever done that yourself? I didn’t realize how it can tie a person down so much with all this tech stuff & social media….it was nice to take time to just breathe! Now I can come back to it refreshed & renewed :-)
