Hey, everyone! How goes?! Pretty good here. A friend of mine and I spent several hours this evening working in my office (which is kind of a catch all area) and it looks MUCH better. Not DONE mind you but…
It was a pretty crazy week around here. Monday, we had an appointment to take the oldest two girls to the orthodontist (the first appointment for one, the last appointment before braces for the other).
Instead, the oldest (Maggie) decided it would be a good day to PASS OUT for the first time (and the SECOND time, too!). Her last class of the day is band and her band director was sending her with a friend to the nurse when she started stumbling into things. Instead, he practically carried her down there, but she did get a pretty good bump on her chin. We think it was just low blood sugar – she hadn’t felt good all day and so hadn’t eaten much. I went to pick her up and when we were leaving, I ran into her bestie. We usually do this big melodramatic, running through a field in slow motion hug thing (don’t ask me – I have no idea how it started ;)) – this time, though, she beelined for me and started to cry. She’d been in the room and was so scared for Maggie. I was glad I had a chance to talk with her and reassure her before we left – it’s why I’m using the bestie pics from a couple weeks ago. When we got home from the doctor, there was a police officer walking up our driveway. Yep – the bestie’s dad had a few minutes and stopped by to check on her :D. Maggie’s taken it pretty easy the rest of the week, but she’s fine :).
Friday, we took our youngest daughter for a vision therapy evaluation – thanks to an InspyRomance post from Staci Stallings last month. I about cried tears of relief because we. have. answers. THANK GOD! It’s not great news in that there definitely are some issues, BUT they can BE FIXED! Which is FABULOUS! YAY! It’s going to be a few weeks before we can get started officially, but we’re doing some stuff at home. in the meantime.
Anyway, that’s my week in a nutshell (oh – and I finished getting Hand-Me-Down Princess uploaded and ready for Monday’s release!) :D. What about y’all?
