Hey, InspyRomance! Welcome to another Sunday! It’s a long weekend here in the States. I spent part of this afternoon with my mother-in-law’s extended family – her/4-5 of her siblings (one had to leave before I got there :/) & significant others, 8? cousins & significant others, 6 grandkids (I think…not all of them were able to come, especially the ones from out of town), etc. We only get together every couple of years it seems. I wish it was more and it seems like it should be – most of us live in the same general area and most of the rest about 3 hours away. Two of the cousins live quite a distance – one was going to be there but I had to leave early and the other is halfway across the country.
We’ll spend most of the rest of our long weekend at the pool for one last hurrah! We have some friends coming over for lunch after church tomorrow and then we’ll head to the pool for several hours. Monday is the last day for the pool and we’ll be there to close it down (barring the rain/storms that may come in). I’m also working on Winning the Queen’s Heart, book 2 in the Brides of Belles Montagnes series. I can’t wait to dive back in later tonight!!!
What about you? Do you have a long weekend where you live? Any big plans?

Happy Sunday, Carol! Sounds like your busy season will be winding down a bit for your family. I know it’s been a crazy summer :-) We don’t ever have anything big planned for Labor Day weekend, maybe just do something on the BBQ. My son will be going back to school this week & it’s graduation year (yikes!). Can’t believe it really!! Went to church this morning & got to meet and hold a 3 week old little girl….made me a bit sad for those early days with my kids. Even my grandbaby is 18 months now & getting to be such a big girl….I miss those days!! We really must treasure life & the people in it because it just goes by way too quickly!!
I really enjoyed this weeks post. Made me reflect on different things & encouraged me in others. I SO appreciate everyone at Inspy Romance. Even though I’ve never met any of you in person, you are all my sisters in Christ. I can laugh or cry with you & always, always grow closer to the Lord with you!!
Looking forward to the huge Fall Giveaway!! Always a fun time & a chance at some great prizes :-) Thanks for all you gals do!! Blessings, prayers and hugs to each one of you!!

Enjoying a HOT Labor Day Weekend at home in Texas. So far, I have stayed cool by reading the Montevaro Monarchy books and Hand-Me-Down Princess. I am hooked and can’t wait to find out what happens with the rest of the characters. Since I’ll have to wait on Christiana, maybe I should actually go do something with my husband today, LOL! Thanks for the wonderful stories.
