Good morning, InspyRomance Land!
How goes? Good but busy week here (is it ever anything else?) – hubby’s been sick :(. He rarely is, but is right now. Feeling MUCH better than he was before, though. I ran a sale – was supposed to be two days but now through Sunday midnight or so. If you’re looking for a Carol Moncado book, now’s a great time ;). Plus my Christmas novella released! It’s part of the Snowflakes and Mistletoe collection!
AND I finished two books today! Okay – it was a total of about 8 smallish scenes that needed worked into two different projects, but they’re both ready for (final?) edits!!! Then I can get to fast drafting the next one! I love that part! When I looked through my TimeHop, I realized that today was the day I made the big announcement. Last year, I decided to go indie and have LOVED it and haven’t looked back! Would I still love to be hybrid (write both indie and for a traditional publisher)? Yep! Sure would! But this indie ride has been fabulous! Seven novels and two novellas in the last 10.5 months – with one more novella and 1-2 more novels coming this year :). LOVING it!

The more comments, the merrier, Margaret, so get your name in as often as you can. Or at least as often as you find something you’d like to comment on. :)

It’s always fun, isn’t it?! For me, it may end up being the other way around someday. I started indie but am certainly keeping my options open for trad if I need to!

Thanks, Sue! Both should be out in the next six weeks or so! So glad to have you! And so glad you enjoyed them!
Happy Sunday, Carol! I know I say that every week, but it’s become my trademark saying….because I DO pray you have a happy Lord’s day :-)
Sounds like another busy week, but when are you not busy ;-) I think you thrive on keeping busy. I pray your husband will continue to get better this next week. It’s no fun being sick, especially if you are one who doesn’t get sick often. Seems to be worse for those kind….I know it does for me. Hopefully you will be able to take care of him & show some extra loving :-)
Glad to see you got some good writing, even novella’s are a small step towards your goal, huh? Maybe someday your dream will be realized & you can go hybrid. God knows your heart’s desires and you just never know, He may just answer that!
Congrats to D.K. on your winning this week. How exciting for you to choose a book you want, enjoy! :-)
