Happy May, InspyRomance friends!!!!
I hope it’s nice in your neck of the woods! We’re finally getting some perfect spring weather (now – if it’ll just last… and not get too hot too soon… ;)). It’s nice timing – we’re “dog sitting” but really a “try before you buy” sort of thing (a kiddo is allergic to most dogs, etc.) and since he’s only like 4 pounds and we don’t have a fence… well, we get to go outside with him. Better 80* and sunshine than 45* and rain :D. It’s also the time of year where lawn mowers are the first thing you hear in the morning on weekends – and the last thing you hear as the sun goes down. One of my “romance after I Do” things? A husband who takes care of the yard – even if it’s nothing fancy!
How many of you are ready for school to get out? My kids are! Because of all the snow days, we have a while to go yet, but my college classes are just about done – I’m seriously debating taking the papers outside to grade tomorrow. I may even find a way to work on my new manuscript out in the sunshine!
Remember those showers all last month? Well, they’ve got the May flowers blooming. What’s your favorite kind of flower? Mine are carnations. I don’t have a lot of experience with flowers, but I like their smell the best :).
We’ve had a great week here at InspyRomance and have another one coming up! Don’t forget – every comment you make All. Month. Long. gets you entered for our monthly drawing! Winner of April’s $30 Amazon card is…
