Hey everyone! How’s it going? Good here :). It’s been ANOTHER busy week (shocker, I know!), including a trip to a town about 45 minutes away for the 7th and 8th grade honor band concert. My oldest daughter and her bestie were both included. There were 33 area schools involved, and Maggie was first chair tenor saxophone! So out of ALLLLLLLLLLLL the tenor saxophones in South Central Missouri and my kiddo was the best today! SO stinkin’ proud of her!
It also meant she had to be at school by 630 (yuck!) but it was a writing day so I went to my friends’ rec room and slept on their futon for a bit before working on my NaNoWriMo project. Good progress was made! YAY! I’ll get to write again tomorrow which will be fabulous :D.
Are y’all ready for Thanksgiving? We are! We’ll have my sister and my mother/step-father-in-law over. It’s always a lot of fun.

Sweet memories! When I was in 8th grade, I was first chair of the clarinets in San Joaquin County, CA! I will always remember being the very best of something that one time! My parents were there to watch me too! One of our songs was a John Phillips Sousa patriotic song. Congratulations!!

Congratulations to your daughter and her friend, Carol. My best friend and I played the clarinet in junior high and high school. I have such great memories of getting together at each others homes to practice. I remember her dog used to howl. :)
Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Happy Sunday Carol!
Congrats to your daughter and best friend on the honors band!! I can tell you are one proud mama!! :-) My daughter was in band years ago for 5th & 6th grade but she didn’t like it all that much so she decided not to pursue it (she also played clarinet).
Can’t believe it’s Thanksgiving week already, seems like the years go by faster & faster! We go out of town to visit my sister-in-law and niece in Washington for 4 days, have our annual Old Country Buffet, then back to their house for whatever football game is going on & have a piece (or two) of my pumpkin pie :-) I can’t wait, we need a vacation…haha!
Here’s to all the great posts for this next week, always love reading and commenting! Happy Thanksgiving everyone in the Inspy Romance world!!
