Um…Oops. Mea Culpa. My bad.
Sometimes that’s all you can say and then go on.
Yesterday was Thanksgiving with some of my in-laws. I figured I’d go. Get home about 8 or 9, write up the Sunday Edition, and there ya go. Instead, I stayed home with a nagging, hacking cough that I wanted to keep to myself. Though I didn’t feel AWFUL, I didn’t feel WELL either. So I snuggled in my bed with my 5lb Shorkie (who seems to be on the mend FINALLY), and watched sappy Christmas movies.
And completely forgot the Sunday Edition.
So after a good night’s sleep (albeit on the couch so I wouldn’t keep my husband up), I’m feeling somewhat better (though I didn’t share my germs at church either) and am in a friend’s rec room to try to get some writing done (they won’t be here so no germ sharing).
I hope y’all had a great Thanksgiving! Mine was good! I wasn’t sick yet, which helps a lot ;).

Sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well, Carol! Praying God’s healing touch be upon you & you’ll soon be up and about again.
We were gone most of the week visiting my sis-in-law for Thanksgiving. What a peaceful week of just unplugging from everything for a while and spending quality family time together. Oh I may have checked Facebook a time or two or glanced at my email, but for the majority, I was electronic device free :-) I guess I didn’t realize how good it would feel & I didn’t feel like I was missing out on something! Monday begins a new week and I’m looking forward to getting back into it. It’s nice to take a break every once in a while, I may just do it more often :-)
Hope everyone at Inspy Romance land had a blessed Thanksgiving and got to spend time with loved ones. Now time to relax before another super busy holiday is upon us!
