Welcome to Inspy Romance! Today’s photos are courtesy of a visit to a friend’s beautiful greenhouse and garden in the month of May a few years ago.
Today I want to remind you to give someone in your life an extra hug and “I love you.” My family was saddened this past week by the death of my lovely niece, gone too soon. I’ve just been extra reminded of how much those hugs and words matter. We never know if we’ll have another chance.
Have you watched the BLAB from last week? We are planning on hosting one a month, and hope many of you will come and enjoy the chance to visit with our Inspy Romance authors in real time. Check it out!
Elizabeth will be hosting another BLAB on Tuesday, June 7th at 8:30 p.m. Eastern. If you’d like to be reminded just before the BLAB takes place, subscribe here.

Sad to hear about your niece Valerie, a timely reminder to cherish each moment. What an awesome garden, my kids would love the train!
Renate says
Condolences about the passing of your niece. An excellent reminder of how to live each day to the fullest and cherish the memories with out loved ones. Lovely photos. Sure wish that in SW Michigan or the Midwest, it would warm up and quit rainy on a daily basis so one can enjoy the outdoors. I will be waiting to garden till after Memorial Day weekend (in the States) and my cast for my broken wrist is removed. Blessing to you and your family.
Valerie Comer says
Thanks – I’m sure your kids would wish they could ride on the train instead of admire it from a distance!
Valerie Comer says
Thanks, Renate. Here we usually don’t plant out bedding plants until at least Mother’s Day or Victoria Day weekend (the Canadian long weekend a week before your Memorial Day). We don’t have our garden quite ready to plant yet. This week!

Trying to get caught up with Inspy blog this week, I’ve missed so many days!
Valerie, sorry to hear about your niece! I’ve lost 2 family members within the last 3 years so I can certainly understand the emotions a person goes through. It’s a tremendous loss and leaves a hole in your heart. Cherish the sweet memories, give yourself time to grieve and hold each other close. Praying comfort and peace for your family.
