Happy Sunday!
I’m glad to be back again, though today is going to be a crazy day for me. I think I’ve mentioned before that I’m in charge of our Awana program at church? Well, tonight is our award ceremony. I’ve been busy all week making my lists, checking them twice, double-checking that we have all the awards we need, and writing out about one hundred fifty certificates for the clubbers who came faithfully each week. I’m stoked, though, that we have two high school seniors who have earned their Citation award this year. This means that they’ve completed 10 Awana books (from 3rd grade through 12th). And, as a bonus, some colleges award a scholarship for this achievement. It’s a big deal and always so fun to award.
If you missed our blab on Tuesday (and, well, I know you did…cause it was just little ol’ me chatting to myself feeling rather silly) but you want to see the replay, you can do that right here!
And if you want to go ahead and subscribe to the July blab — please do!

Yay, another new week:) we have two more weeks of the school term, then holidays off to somewhere warmer for a week:) Hope your Awana awards program goes well, have to admit, Awana was new to me, had to google it to find out what it was and it looks like a great program- so important to have great stuff for our kids. Blessings for a new week:)

Thanks, Wemble! Enjoy your vacation and getting warm! (I have to laugh as I type that since we’re hitting 97 today. I would like to come visit you and be cool for a while! I don’t like summer.)
I’m sorry I didn’t define Awana — I should have done that. But yes, it’s a fantastic program. I grew up in it and I love that my kids get to do it as well.

I’m really sorry to hear no one showed up on Tuesday. I actually teach a night class during summer time, so there’s my excuse, but I do plan to watch when I have time. I’m sure it will be as exciting as the news we get daily in this blog.

Love the AWANA program! Hope all goes well at the ceremony! Sounds like you are well prepared!

I hope you enjoy the replay! And it was still kind of fun (if weird) to ramble to myself.

It went very well, and it’s lovely that it’s finished for a bit. Of course, planning for next year will get underway very soon here, but for now I get a little breather.
