Happy Father’s Day!
I’m guessing that we don’t have too many dads who read us here at InspyRomance, but there might be a few. And even if they’re not reading, you probably have a plan to at least think about your own father briefly today. If Father’s Day is a hard day for you, for whatever reason, I pray you’re comforted by the arms of our Heavenly Father.
We’re not doing a ton for my hubby today, since he has to leave on a business trip this afternoon, but it’s been a fun weekend full of daddy time. My boys adore their dad, and my husband is wonderful with them. Sometimes I’ll hide around a corner and peek at them as they play. We did get him a t-shirt that has lots of Star Wars characters on it (this one), and the boys made him cards. I see my dad just about every week when I visit my parents for lunch (they live close, which is delightful. I love that my boys are growing up near their grandparents.) Hubby’s parents are also nearby, but we don’t see them quite as often. We’ll try to get together for dinner with them when everyone is back in town. All in all, I think it’s been a pretty good celebration of dad in these parts.
