I’m doing something today that I don’t think I’ve done in my entire married life (except maybe if Christmas fell on a Sunday, but even then I’m not sure I did).

What could I possibly be talking about?

I’m fixing dinner—like the evening meal. We usually have a big lunch on Sunday and then scrounge for dinner. But today, all of my kids and the spouses (or spouse to be) are coming for dinner. That’s twelve people around my table. :) And I can’t wait. I love it when all my family gets together. It’s loud and a little chaotic with all the conversations, but it’s wonderful. With only three still at home, my house is quiet. I miss the one who’ve moved out. A LOT.

And because I want you to be able to enjoy your Resurrection Sunday—aka Easter—with your family or firmly ensconced in a good book, here are this week’s announcements.
