Happy Father’s Day to our male readers! Also, of course, it’s a great day to honor our fathers, whether our biological dads, our adoptive dads, our grandfathers, and/or the positive male figures that have influenced our lives. I love this photo of my dad holding me when I was a baby, and the look of love on his face even for his fifth daughter! I also get a kick out of the vintage wallpaper, old wall phone, rounded refrigerator, and all the other décor of that long-ago era.

I got saved listening to the American Radio station in the little German town where I went to university on Father’s Day 23 year ago when the Countdown presenter, Walt Baby Love, read the Lord’s Prayer from Matthew, saying their Producer had said that since it was Father’s Day it was fitting to give thanks to all of our Father. Having grown up in East Germany, I didn’t *know* if God existed for real. That day, I decided He did. :-)
Grüße Anke! Wunderschöne Zeugnis! Ich was in West Berlin geboren, aber habe Verwante die im Osten geboren waren. Ich wünsche Dir Gottes Segen. (What a great teatimony, Anke. From another Berlinerin. I now live Michigan. My father was a Berliner. He became a Christian when we immigrated to America in 1955.
Hi Valerie! What a delightful post. Thanks for the forethought of collecting pictures of Inspy Authors with their father’s. A slice of history and culture. Wishing all blessings this Father’s Day! Enjoy the day with family and friends and remember the memories of those who passed. Praise to a Hevenly Father! Happy Sunday!
Hi Valerie, what a beautiful idea:) Father’s Day is in September here in Australia, but it is a great reminder that no matter the day, Dads are special:)
It didn’t snow here at home this weekend, but the High Country got a great covering- we just had lots of rain and pellets of hail:)
Blessings:)
That is such a sweet post! Love seeing all.yhe photos!
Love the photos! I was at a camp in the mountains all last week with very limited Internet, so this is the first time I’ve gotten to catch up on InspyRomance posts! It was a great camp, with lots of kids and teens, and one grandfather, finding Jesus for the first time!
Both my dad and my father-in-law are in heaven, so I almost forgot it was Father’s Day ;-)
Wonderful idea….thanks for posting it. My Dad has been in heaven for 23 yrs…still miss him.
Thank you SO much for sharing that blessing with us!
It was fun to see the photos come in! Happy Father’s Day to our Heavenly Father. Amen!
So true! Dads are special.
Sounds like winter is well on its way to your part of Australia!
Thanks :)
Oh, that’s wonderful!!!! My dad has been in heaven for 20 years, but my father-in-law is still here. I hope to see him this afternoon.
I miss my daddy, too. :'(
As an adult I am ever do thankful for my Dad. Probably much more so than when I was young. I am so glad that my parents live very nearby and I can spend special days like this with them
Love all the pictures of Daddy’s and their little girls. Thanks for putting this together, Valerie. I’m thankful to still have my dad.
So sorry I couldn’t provide a photo of my awesome Dad! Most of my family photos are in storage while we get some work done on the house. Great to see all the other authors’ proud dads. :)
I enjoyed this post and looking at the pictures. Thanks for thinking to do this Valerie.
Living near family is (usually!) great! Our kids aren’t around today for their dad, but he (hubby) is popping over to visit his for a little bit shortly,
You’re welcome! It was fun to see them all.
I’m sorry to have missed your photo, too! Maybe another time :)
I’m glad I thought of it with enough time to implement!!! LOL
I enjoy seeing photos that people post of their dads… especially on Father’s day. I love my dad and I made him his Father’s day card and he appreciated it.
I love seeing all the Daddy pictures!
