The time has come.
It is with very mixed feelings that I write this final post to draw Inspy Romance’s era to a close. It’s been a really, really good ten years, and I’m thankful for all of you who’ve come alongside this (revolving!) group of authors as we’ve shared with you our love for Jesus and the romance stories He has given us.
We write — and continue to write — romance to help point our own hearts and our readers’ hearts to the greatest love story of all time, the passionate love of God himself: “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 NIV)
The love between humans, whether romantic or familial or platonic is a mere hint of that great, abounding love. My prayer today is that I have been faithful (that all of us have been) in pointing you to the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Valerie Comer is a USA Today bestselling author and a two-time Word Award winner who writes where food meets faith and fiction. She injects experience laced with humor into her green clean romances. Her life on a small farm in western Canada provides the seed for stories of contemporary inspirational romance. Like many of her characters, Valerie and her family grow much of their own food and are active in the local foods movement as well as their church. She only hopes her creations enjoy their happily-ever-afters as much as she does hers, shared with her husband, adult kids, and adorable granddaughters.

Thank you, all of you, for this great blog! I’m sorry to see it end, though I’m also happy for each of you, as this will give you more time for writing, more time with your families, and time for whatever else God has in store for you!! I’m stalking all of you, so it’s not the end of the friendships that started here! I’ve found new-to-me authors through this blog, found lots of great books, and have quite a few books and other prizes that I’ve won through my time at this blog! This may be the end of the blog, but it’s the start of some other great things, I have no doubt! Some of you have lost loved ones during the ten years, most notably during the past few months. None of it was a surprise to God, and His timing is perfect, so take the time to process your grief, take the time to heal, and take the time to do whatever else He wants you to do! I think most of us will be with you on the journey, through your newsletters, FaceBook groups, and other platforms, and will be eagerly awaiting whatever books you write!! I’ll be continuing to pray for each of you every day!!

Thank you so much for what all of you have shared over the last 10 years. I have learned a lot and found new to me authors and new to me books that have taken me on the road of following Jesus with fiction. Thank you so much. My mom is the one that brought me to Jesus many years ago. But she love to read books that were not Christian. They were clean but not Christian. I w as able to find some authors and books that she would fall in love with. And she did. And because of this site I was able to help a few friends find some of their now favorite authors. I thank all of you for following Jesus and bringing us along for this wonderful ride. God has used you all wonderfully and with lots of prayers for you, has used you all greatly. My prayer for all o f you now is that you will each find the next niche where God can use you in a meaningful way. Thank you again and God bless.
