Wow, some authors have been very busy, indeed! In the past 10 years or so, I became very addicted to Goodreads to keep track of my books, but it is always nice to have something tangible to browse through. Just this week, I read Book 1 in an Author series and I thought it was a 5-star and rated it as such. Then I went to look for Book 2 – and I couldn’t find it in my Kindle. With a little research, I found Book 1.5 which is a novella and which I had read in 2015. I had only rated it as a 3-star because I found the characters didn’t seem to be well-developed and something was just missing. At that time, I didn’t know it was a sequel to Book 1, and is now actually shown as Book 2 in the series. I reread, and now it flows perfectly. 5 years is a long time for this old brain. If I had written details of this author down in my Totally Booked Book, I wouldn’t have been thinking it was the first time I was reading her writing. Blessings,

Oh, wow! I do most of this tracking digitally on Goodreads, and I have a running review document of each book I finish and review. But it would be handy to have it all in one book — as well as a help to share my favorites. I hope I win! (I’ve put it on my Christmas wishlist if I don’t.) ;)

What a beautiful book journal! And I think we’re all hoping for a sweeter 2021. Thankfully, we cannot see into the future and we aren’t in charge. All we can do is believe that there is a reason for all that has happened in 2020.
I also keep track of the books I read on Goodreads.com. And, I keep track of them in a notebook, as well, which I’ve done for quite a few years, as I sometimes I forget what books I read. This looks like a fun new option, though!
What a gorgeous way to keep track of all those books! I use Goodreads for all the books I read, my reviews, what I want to read and make a yearly goal of how many books I hope to read for the year. This would be a great companion to that!
