Who’s got summer out where you’re at? None of us, I’m guessing! Spring in the northern hemisphere and fall in the south… but many of us are headed toward summer with family vacations, days at the beach, or maybe a camping trip.
I don’t know about you, but I get a lot of reading done while camping! We like back-country camping though our days of tenting are over. Eventually old backs needed a bed and old bladders needed a nearby bathroom!
We bought a small holiday trailer a few years ago, but it’s never seen a KOA. Instead, we pull it up beside a mountain creek or lake. Hubby goes fishing and I pull out my Kindle. Hey, that thing has plenty enough battery for a few days of nonstop reading, but my laptop needs to be plugged in much oftener. I don’t get much writing done while camping, though we’re looking at buying a solar charger for this summer. That would change the “balance of power!” (Sorry, couldn’t resist…)
Five of my fellow Christian contemporary romance authors, some of whom blog here at Inspy Romance, joined me in putting together a collection of summer novels for your Kindle (or other device). For only 99 cents, you can pre-order Summer of Love and enjoy a runaway bride romance, a marriage of convenience romance, a celebrity romance… and more! Here’s what you get.
Come to Me Alive by Leah Atwood
Bryce Landry and Sophie Thatcher are two strangers, opposite in every way, until a chance encounter brings them together. Neither can deny the pull between them, but as the weeks and months pass, they discover that finding each other was easy, but holding on will be a different story.
Wild Mint Tea by Valerie Comer
Local foods chef Claire Halford hosts weddings on Green Acres Farm, but the first bride comes with a ruggedly handsome brother. Noel Kenzie’s reforestation company provides him the means to enjoy a globe-trotting life… until he’s captivated by a certain chef who’s firmly rooted in one place.
Catching Serenity by JoAnn Durgin
Serenity McClaren’s world collapsed five years ago and she returns to South Carolina to find the answers. Child psychologist Jackson Ross discovers the truth, but by telling her, he risks losing everything—including Serenity.
Marrying Kate by Kimberly Rae Jordan
When Jared proposes marriage to Kate, it’s for the sake of their orphaned nieces and nephew. Though Kate hopes for more, their chance at love is threatened when Jared’s past comes to call.
The Bride’s Broken Bond by Lee Tobin McClain
Urban missionary Rock Anderson must rescue the woman he’s always found annoying but irresistible, spoiled rich girl Hope DeMille, from a wedding she doesn’t want. But when her domineering father disowns her, it’s up to Rock to help Hope overcome her dysfunctional past and find meaning in service, faith, and love.
The Long Way Home by Staci Stallings
Sent from Chicago to his grandfather’s backroads Kansas farm on family business, Jaxton Anderson is faced with culture shock and Ami Martin, and he’s not sure which one is worse. Ami hates him and so does most everyone else, so why can’t he just go back where he came from? Good question.
Have you read all six? If not, why not pre-order Summer of Love today? It will be delivered to your Kindle on May 19… just in time for sunny days at the beach!

Now that’s the way to spend a summer vacation, in a travel trailer!! Pull up next to some water somewhere and stay a few days. I’d be out fishing while the hubby is relaxing and reading a book! Or I’d be reading while fishing too :-)
Talking about books, this looks like a great set here. And you can’t beat the price of 99 cents either! I may just have to take advantage of this deal. Not that I don’t have a whole collection of books on my shelves or a Kindle full already :-)

Three weeks by the ocean in June in that holiday trailer! So can’t wait. I’m sure I’ll slim down the TBR pile quite a bit. Hope you enjoy this box set. :)

I pre-ordered this the second I saw it on Amazon last week. I had most, if not all, on my Amazon wishlist just waiting for their turn. I am actually thankful I hadn’t read them yet so I could scoop up the great deal!

Sounds like this deal was made just for you, then! Thanks for the pre-order. :)
