Which Heroine are you-PHave you been reading my Farm Fresh romance series? Then you might know that the sixth — and final — book in the series has just been released! I’ve really enjoyed the time I’ve spent on Green Acres Farm, getting to know the people who inhabit it and helping them find their happily-ever-afters.

One of the things I did purposefully from the beginning was to make sure that each of my heroines had a distinct personality. None of them are a ‘mini-me’! They all are different — some more so than others, I’ll admit. They came from different backgrounds and view life in different ways.

If you’ve ever wondered which Farm Fresh Romance heroine you have the most in common with, wonder no more! I’ve created a personality quiz to help you find out which woman is most like you!

Have fun with it. Do take it once playing by the rules, but feel free to take it more times trying to skew the results. Also, don’t take it too seriously! This is just a fun way to get to know Jo, Claire, Sierra, Allison, Chelsea, and Liz a little better.

Get Josephine? She is the heroine of Book 1, Raspberries and Vinegar.
Get Claire? She is the heroine of Book 2, Wild Mint Tea.
Get Sierra? She is the heroine of Book 3, Sweetened with Honey.
Get Allison? She is the heroine of Book 4, Dandelions for Dinner.
Get Chelsea? She is the heroine of Book 5, Plum Upside Down.
Get Liz? She is the heroine of Book 6, Berry on Top.

You live to organize, so you’re not very impulsive, and you’d rather tell others what to do than be told! Beneath it all, you are timid and will quickly retreat if your skills are not well received.

    Yeah… it’s about half right. ;) I’ve not read her book yet, though, so we might be more alike than I think. ;)

  37. I thought I would be Chelsea. In college I felt God’s calling to serve, but did not want to go to Africa. Neither did I want to be a pastor’s wife. When I met my husband, he was a new believer and was a pre-med student. Then he felt God’s calling to the ministry. We served for 25 years.

    According to the quiz, I am a Liz, which is spot on. Been reflecting on this all morning and realize there is a difference personality and the story plot.

  46. In November 2014 I purchased the box set Love brings Us Home, which included your Raspberries and Vinegar. I was hooked and the next week I bought Wild Mint Tea and Sweened with Honey. Then purchased every book since. Usually I do not reread books, because there are so many interesting books available, but so little time to read.i enjoy staying in touch with authors, but through Book Bub keep discovering new authors and topics. When I was younger I could literally read day and night, but didn’t have the time. Now I have the time, but after 6 hours of reading my eyes are strained. Have fun celebrating you grandchild’s birthday.

I’m missing book 3 and 4 but I really appreciate the fact that the later books are light on spoilers for the previous couples (other than they get married, which is expected) but there’s still enough information to keep the reader from feeling lost.

  52. I got Jo, and I can definitely identify with her! One of the things I love about the Farm Fresh series is that I can identify, or at least empathize, with each of the characters.

  70. I’m not completely sure…I think it helps that we get to live his backstory, so I didn’t have to learn to care about him – I already did. Other than that though, while Gabe is far from perfect, he strikes me as being kind and patient. I also enjoyed his relationship with his Sunday school kids. (BTW, I thoroughly enjoyed my Farm Fresh binge!)

  71. Thanks for sharing your observations about Gabe. It really helps to see my characters from a reader’s perspective, especially as I am in the midst of creating new ones for a new series and trying to make them likable without being perfect! So happy you enjoyed your reading binge!

  145. I got Claire, but I think I’m probably a little more confrontational than her. On several of the questions, I teetered between two answers so I’m kind of curious what I would get if I went back and did it and answered with the other answers I leaned toward.

  168. It revealed that I was a Claire. I don’t think I am that much because of some of the choices in the quiz. For instance, it asked which country I would like to go to and my choice was to go to Australia which was not listed. I have been to all of the countries listed so I chose the option to stay home. It did not mean I would not get out of my comfort zone.
    I grew up on a farm so I am already a farm girl without taking the quiz.

  180. Before I even took the quiz I thought I was a little like Jo. Sure enough, I got Jo. But I love them all. I have been doing a lot of reading since retiring and having a knee replacement. When I get a new book I have to read immediately. I can read a book in a day or two. Last week I got the Riverbend series and have read all of them. Loved them also.

  195. I am Claire. The first question was are you the oldest, middle, or youngest. I put oldest, but actually am the second oldest of nine. Imagine the diaper changes. Didn’t have disposables back then. Lol.

  196. Sounds like a lot of diapers all right! We did cloth diapers (but only two kids) and our kids did cloth with the grandgirls. But cloth diapers are much cuter these days!

  198. I got Chelsea, but I’m not sure we’re alike. There were several questions that had two equally good options for me. I’m going to take it again and choice the other options and see what happens. How fun!
